Crimson Heights - Salem

Suite 204 at 591 UT-198 gives Crimson Heights a presence in Salem, well north of the organization's southern Utah base. The full service line is offered here: ABA therapy for autism and behavioral challenges, individual mental and behavioral health therapy, therapeutic day treatment and partial hospitalization built for pre-teens and adolescents, and residential treatment for youth.

Programming rests on behavior skills training. Staff teach a skill, model it, rehearse it with the client, then reinforce and give feedback, and they do this experientially in the clinic, out in the community, and in the home so progress generalizes instead of staying locked to one setting. Board certified behavior analysts write and periodically review the goals in each ABA plan, while licensed therapists carrying master's or doctorate degrees handle the counseling side. Those served are children, youth, and young adults facing autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, trauma, reactive attachment, oppositional defiance, and obsessive compulsive disorder.

Insurance covers much of the work, including Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada Medicaid plans with CHIP, along with Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, EMI, Select Health, and Medicare Part B. Private pay rates are $70 hourly for skill development and behavior management, $175 for counseling, and $225 for a behavioral health evaluation.
