About Bridgeway Integrated Healthcare Services - Brigham City — Skyline Dr
Bridgeway Integrated Healthcare Services, known as Utah Behavior Services before the name change, has a location at 35 Skyline Dr in Brigham City covering Box Elder and Cache counties. Care is delivered in the clinic, in the family home, or over telehealth, and the weekday schedule runs 9am to 7pm. Board certified behavior analysts, registered behavior technicians, and licensed mental health professionals build individualized treatment plans spanning applied behavior analysis, in-home ABA, day treatment, social skills, psychological evaluations, mental health services, and family counseling for children, adolescents, and adults.
Families already in center-based day treatment can add UTBS Academy, the organization's academic program. Each student is assigned a special education teacher who works alongside the behavior, mental health, and medical staff on an individual academic plan that opens with baseline assessment and sets measurable reading, writing, and math goals. Instructors hold a bachelor's degree or higher, or three years of classroom teaching experience, or specialist expertise recognized under Utah Code for instructing students with special needs, and all clear background checks. The program is built for students who have not succeeded in public placements, who have never attended school and are preparing for one, or who are working back toward a return after treatment. It asks 15 hours a week for children aged 3 through pre-kindergarten and 21 hours a week from kindergarten through age 21, and it is not intended for students on track to graduate with a diploma.
Treatment is billed to insurance, with Medicaid, CHIP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, SelectHealth, Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, Molina, PEHP, EMI Health, Humana, and Tricare among the accepted plans and payment plans available on request. Academy tuition is separate and not covered by insurance, running $5,885 a year for preschool and $10,700 for full day kindergarten, grades 1 through 12, and post high school students up to age 22. The state-funded Children's First Education Fund scholarship can cover that tuition in full or in part for Utah students aged 3 to 21 who have a disability documented under IDEA and are not enrolled in a public or charter school, with application windows in August, October, January, and March. Treatment inquiries go to (801) 255-5131, extension 8; Academy applications go to academy@bihs.co.
