Adventures with Autism

Salem families can work with our team at the 25th Avenue NE center or through in-home ABA. Care starts with an assessment and an individualized plan; BCBAs guide treatment and families can take part in coaching tied to home routines. Our Salem clinic is one of Centria’s Oregon locations for pediatric ABA.

Step Forward ABA serves children and young adults ages 2 to 18 from our Salem location on Lancaster Drive NE, with in-home ABA therapy, in-school ABA therapy, parent ABA training, and behavior intervention. Programs are designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts after an individual assessment and target language and communication, academics and learning, motor skills, social skills, and daily living. Parent training gives families the knowledge and tools to continue progress at home between sessions. Our team includes bilingual English and Spanish BCBAs and providers. Step Forward operates centers in Florida, Washington, Colorado, North Carolina, Illinois, and Texas as well as Oregon, and we work with Optum, Aetna, Oscar, Magellan Health, UnitedHealthcare, and BlueCross BlueShield.

Next Path Therapy Center was created by a mother with two autistic children who understands first hand what it is like to try and navigate care and resources for special needs children. Especially living rurally and trying to coordinate minute to minute services. These services were created to support the more rural areas of our state so that families didn't have to change their entire lives to receive support.
