Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Bright Minds ABA - Raleigh — Navaho Dr

Do you accept Medicaid?

Yes

Do you offer parent training and support?

yes

How long are sessions, and how many per week is typical?

The maximum amount of ABA therapy a child can receive in our clinic is 25 hours per week. We try to remain flexible and work with each family’s schedule so that children still have opportunities to participate in other services, community activities, family time, and simply enjoy being children—not spend all of their time in therapy.

What ages do you serve?

We serve children ages 2-18

Do you offer in-home, in-center, or telehealth sessions?

We can provide in-home ABA services when clinically recommended and appropriate for the child’s needs. However, our primary focus is on school-readiness skills, group participation, peer interaction, and learning within structured group settings—skills that cannot be fully addressed through in-home services alone.

What credentials do your clinicians hold?

BCBA-D, BCBA, RBT

What is your typical wait time for new clients?

2-4 weeks

How are progress updates shared with families?

Families receive daily progress updates through our secure data-collection platform. Parents can access session notes, treatment data, and progress information after each session. The platform also allows us to share photos and short videos of selected activities completed during therapy, so families can see what their child worked on and how skills are being practiced in the clinic.

What insurance plans do you accept?

Medicaid, BCBS, Cigna, Aetna.
