About The Educational Therapy Center of Princeton
At our Princeton practice, we provide in-person, one-to-one educational therapy for students from preschool through college. Services include evaluations, individualized lessons and case management for learning disabilities and differences, enrichment, alternative schooling, homeschool programming, standardized test preparation, and a pre-literacy group. We assess cognition, achievement, processing, and language, then use the results and record review to shape a targeted learning program. Lessons use dynamic, explicit, multisensory instruction. Test preparation can include the ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, COOP, PSAT, SAT, and ACT. Remedial programs require at least four hours of lesson time each week. Our founders, Erin Ellis and Sarah Gaitens, have decades of combined educational therapy experience and hold master’s degrees in education or special education. We are at 6–8 Charlton Street in downtown Princeton, with street parking on Charlton, Williams, and Prospect Streets.
