Little Milestones for Small Discoveries

Our Jersey City autism center on Brunswick Street gives families a safe, inviting place for ABA therapy. Our team of ABA therapists helps children with autism build social and emotional skills through structured, individualized programming, and the center is led by Center Director Juriangelis Chaparro and Assistant Director Raidiris Rodriguez. Families can choose full-day services, partial-day services that fit around other schedules, or an afterschool program that continues a child's progress beyond school hours. During the summer we run a themed summer program with therapy, games and events every week, Monday through Saturday, during normal center hours. In-center social skills groups help children make friends while practicing interpersonal skills. The center is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM.

We provide individualized, one-to-one ABA for children and families in New Jersey. Services include center-based, in-home, and community-based therapy, with caregiver training to support skills across everyday settings. Speech and occupational therapy are available at the Gibbsboro center. The clinic serves families from across the region, including Jersey City, through its New Jersey service area.

Intense Behavioral Services is an autism services company based on Seaview Avenue in Jersey City. We provide in-home and community-based ABA for children and adults, with a practice built around clients with behavioral difficulties and multiple disabilities, including those with more severe autism. Our ABA therapy applies behavioral principles to everyday situations to increase or decrease targeted behaviors, delivered in the home or out in the community where those behaviors happen. Social skills groups give children who need extra practice a structured place to learn those skills with ABA teaching methods. Family training teaches parents and caregivers the principles of ABA so they can continue to prompt and reinforce skills between sessions. We accept most health insurance plans, including Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Aetna, Cigna, Oxford, Emblem Health and Tricare.
