State Senator Raj Mukherji presented a certificate of recognition when ABA Centers of New Jersey opened its Hoboken center on October 30, 2024. The center takes up nearly 7,000 square feet at 50 Harrison Street in Hudson County, and it covers the North region of the state.
Applied Behavior Analysis therapy is delivered at the center, in the home, and in school settings, and autism diagnostic evaluation is available here as well. Child programs cover ages two to twelve, with all-day toddler and pre-K schedules aimed at kindergarten readiness and after-school hours for older children. Teen programs work on communication, planning, finances, self-care, attentiveness, and daily living skills.
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) completes an assessment and writes the plan, and a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) delivers sessions and records progress data, which guides adjustments to the plan. Both are certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
