Our Approach

Center for Restorative Behavior, LLC provides ABA sleep consultation services designed to help children, adolescents, and adults improve their sleep. A wide range of sleep challenges are addressed, including struggling to fall asleep quickly, frequent night wakings, irregular sleep schedules, trouble falling asleep without a parent present, unwanted co-sleeping, resistance to bedtime, calling out or leaving bed after “lights out,” nighttime separation/bedtime anxiety, and more. The sleep consultation process begins with an interview to gather information about your child's unique circumstances and the factors that might be influencing their sleep difficulties. The interview covers a range of topics including sleep goals, sleep and medical history, current sleep problems, sleep schedule, pre-sleep routines, and sleep environment. Next, you'll record your child's sleep habits over 7-10 days. This gives us a true picture of their current sleep patterns. This helps identify the most effective path towards your child's goals. The interview and sleep snapshot are carefully analyzed to develop a personalized plan that addresses your child's needs. A copy of the plan is provided, followed by a meeting to review it step by step, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable moving forward. While treatment plans differ from person to person, they commonly include strategies to teach you how to: reset the time your child falls asleep to the desired bedtime, create an environment to maintain sleep throughout the entire night, develop a routine that signals to their body that it's time to sleep, and keep the focus on sleep while in bed. With a deeper understanding and practical strategies in hand, it's time to put the plan in place! You will receive one-on-one training along with step-by-step guidance to confidently and effectively implement the plan. This comprehensive approach ensures that all aspects of your child's sleep habits and challenges are carefully evaluated, allowing for tailored strategies to improve sleep quality and overall well-being.

A full-day autism preschool program runs at the Flywheel Centers site at 300 American Metro Blvd, Suite 140, which sits on the Route 1 corridor and serves Mercer County and Central Jersey. Peer interaction and systematic skill development sit inside a structured day. Programs serve children ages 18 months through adolescence. Early intensive intervention covers 18 months to 5 years and coordinates with New Jersey's Early Intervention System, including transition planning at age 3. Communication development uses PECS, sign language, and assistive technology. Social skills groups cover turn-taking, sharing, and conversation. Families can choose center-based sessions, in-home sessions, or a combination of the two, and in-home therapy is available anywhere in New Jersey. A supervising BCBA assesses the child and writes the treatment plan, an assigned primary behavior technician runs the sessions, and session data drives revisions to the plan. BCBAs hold master's degrees and New Jersey state licensure. They attend IEP meetings and coordinate with the Hamilton Township school district's special education teams, teachers, and related service providers. Intake starts with a consultation, followed by a BCBA developmental assessment held at the center or in the family home. Most families begin services within 2 to 3 weeks of that assessment, depending on insurance approval. Insurance verification, authorization, reauthorization, and appeals are handled by in-house insurance specialists.
