Our Approach

Applied Behavior Analysis delivered one to one. A BCBA assesses the child and writes a comprehensive individualized treatment plan, then a BCBA plus therapist team implements it. Complex skills are broken into smaller steps, positive reinforcement and naturalistic teaching are used in the child's own environment, and a data-driven review process with senior clinician supervision tracks progress. Parent training and direct supervision of behavior techniques run alongside sessions.

About the Center

Eatontown's ABA center occupies Suite 100 at 1 Corbett Way in Monmouth County. Its weekday window is 9am to 5pm, narrower than the 8am to 7pm most other Proud Moments centers in New Jersey keep, and it closes Saturday and Sunday. Mindy Mangia is the center leader and the number is 732-327-5172. New clients are being taken with no waitlist.

Programs cover communication as well as social and emotional skills. Adaptive daily living skills take in toilet training, safety awareness and executive functioning, and the range extends to job competence skills for older clients. Behavior reduction goals address tantrums, self-injury and aggression.

Sessions are one to one Applied Behavior Analysis for children on the autism spectrum. Intake begins with an advocate, who takes family information and starts insurance authorization. A BCBA then assesses the child and writes a comprehensive individualized treatment plan. Carrying that plan out falls to a BCBA and therapist team.

Ages served are infancy through 21, and Proud Moments carries a BHCOE Award of Distinction. Horizon, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicaid, TRICARE, Cigna and Blue Cross Blue Shield are accepted. Complex skills are broken into smaller steps and taught with positive reinforcement in naturalistic settings, and progress is reviewed against data with senior clinician supervision. Parent training runs alongside sessions.
