Family Tree Behavioral Care

The Autism Center of Excellence at Easterseals Southwest Florida brings therapies and support services together at one Braden Avenue site in Sarasota. It provides applied behavior analysis under BCBA supervision, diagnostic and functional assessment including comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, family education, and respite care. Diagnostic evaluations are offered from age 2 through adulthood, a wider span than most ABA providers cover. As a nonprofit it works with insurance for behavioral therapy authorization and offers a sliding fee scale, which is meaningful given that comprehensive ABA is otherwise out of reach without coverage. The comprehensive diagnostic evaluation matters in Florida because Medicaid has required one for behavior analysis eligibility since 2025.

At our Sarasota location, we provide ABA services with appointments available across the week, including early morning and evening hours. We work with private insurance providers and Medicaid, and shape scheduling around each family’s needs.

Virtus Health operates a Sarasota clinic on Vicela Drive in the Fruitville area, providing applied behavior analysis and autism services with collaboration alongside speech and occupational therapy. Like the organization's other sites, it delivers care across centers, homes, and schools rather than confining services to the clinic. The location posts hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and maintains a Sarasota-specific phone line and email address. Insurance participation is not detailed publicly. Sarasota has comparatively few ABA providers physically based in the city, so local clinic capacity here is worth checking early.
