About the Center

ABA Learning Center offers autism therapy programs rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) for families in South Miami. Sessions combine highly structured teaching with more naturalistic practice, and the team monitors each learner's goals over time so programs stay clinically appropriate.

Leadership includes Penelope A. Johnson, Ed.D., BCBA, ADOS-2 examiner, and Maria Zambrano, BCBA, each with many years of experience with autistic learners. There are two offices near Dadeland Mall and The Falls: 8353 SW 124th Street, Suite 102, and 8603 South Dixie Highway, Suite 303, both in Miami, FL 33156. Social skills groups are available for children ages five and up, and an early intensive option supports children from about 18 months through five years.

Led by Penelope A. Johnson, Ed.D, BCBA, ADOS-2 examiner with over 20 years of experience working with children with autism, and María Zambrano, BCBA with +15 years of experience working with children with disabilities. Penelope created the first ABA master's program in Spanish in Latin America and continues to work with other BCBAs and universities around the world. María specializes in a holistic approach to individual development, focusing on social skills programs that aim to improve an individual's ability to navigate social interactions, fostering independence and a better quality of life.
