Aquinas Academy
Aquinas Academy opened in 1991 with nine high school students in a rented two-room schoolhouse on Schlie Road. Today we are an independent classical Catholic grade school serving K4 through 8th grade on a 68-acre campus on Good Hope Road in Menomonee Falls, just northwest of Milwaukee. We are a recognized Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, governed by a board of lay Catholic business leaders. Our curriculum pairs the practices of classical education with modern instruction. Each day and each class begins and ends with prayer, the school attends Mass together at least once a week, and students visit the Eucharist in our All Saints Oratory daily. We enroll 174 students in classes of 9 to 19, with a pupil to teacher ratio of just over 7 to 1, and the year runs in trimesters. Nicholas Hall, opened in 2021, gave us a full-size gymnasium for athletics and concerts, a science and technology lab, art and music rooms, a library and a cafeteria. We receive no government or parish subsidies, so we keep tuition affordable with need-based tuition assistance, payment plans and discounts for a third or later child.
Grace Evangelical Lutheran School
Grace Evangelical Lutheran School is the school ministry of Grace, a Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregation in Menomonee Falls. We teach about 235 students from 3K through 8th grade, with an average class size of 19 and families from 31 zip codes. Students pray, worship and study Scripture daily through Bible class, memory work and chapel. Our learning spaces include a makerspace, a science lab that hosts the after-school Robotics Club, an outdoor classroom and a school library. Language arts from 5K to 8th grade uses Amplify CKLA, younger grades use Math Expressions, and every student takes Spanish. Middle schoolers choose electives such as coding, baking, missions and leadership, and U.S. election history. Music runs through every grade: choirs from 5K up, recorders in 4th grade, beginning band in 5th, and concert band, worship band and handbells in middle school. We field 23 teams and activities, including volleyball, basketball, cross country, track and field and cheerleading, plus student council. The Tri County YMCA runs before and after school care and 3K wrap care on site.
Menomonee Falls Pre-School
Parents founded the Menomonee Falls Preschool Co-operative in 1964, and families still run it today alongside experienced staff. We are a non-profit, non-sectarian, state licensed preschool in the former school building at Good Shepherd Church on Christman Road. Each of our two 3K classes has a teacher certified in Early Childhood Education and a consistent classroom aide. The Explorers, our younger 3K group, meet Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and the Voyagers, our older 3K group, meet Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Children must be potty trained. Days mix play with early phonics, math, science and hands-on art, and our playground equipment builds gross motor skills. For toddlers from 18 months to 3 years, the Little Navigators playgroup meets Wednesday mornings in 6-week sessions with a caregiver. As a co-op, every family takes part. Each child brings a parent or another adult to class on special helper days, and parents can join our Board of Directors. 3K tuition for 2025-26 was $165 a month from August through April, with a non-refundable registration fee.
