Mt. Calvary-Grace Lutheran School is a Christian school in La Crosse for children from three-year-old preschool through eighth grade, with teaching guided by the Word of God and a goal of helping kids connect with Jesus every day. We are the school of the Mt. Calvary and Grace congregations on Park Avenue. Preschool families choose a 3-day or 5-day program for the year, and hot lunch plus a daily milk or juice are included in preschool tuition. Our kitchen also serves hot lunch to students in kindergarten through grade 8, and extended care is available for working families. Tuition rates differ for member families, other WELS families and non-WELS families. Music has a real place in our week. Students can begin piano lessons during the school day in second grade, with the chance to play at the Children's Christmas Service, in chapel and at a spring recital, and to enter the Wisconsin Music Association Solo and Ensemble Festival. We also field girls basketball, and each August we host Vacation Bible School.
