Encompass

Encompass is a nonprofit organization that partners with families in the Snoqualmie Valley, Issaquah, and Eastside communities to build healthy foundations for children of all abilities. Founded in 1966, the organization provides a comprehensive suite of services including early support, early learning, pediatric therapy, and family enrichment programs. Encompass passionately believes that every family deserves a place to turn when they need help, supporting children from birth through elementary age during the most critical stages of their development.

The Encompass preschool programs are among the highest-rated in the nation, being NAEYC-accredited and ranked in the top 3% of preschools. These programs promote discovery, creativity, and problem-solving while emphasizing social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The evidence-based curriculum focuses on play-based learning and executive functioning skills, with features such as family-style meals and daily outdoor exploration. Small student-to-teacher ratios, as low as 6:1, ensure that each child receives individualized attention.

In addition to early learning, Encompass is a leader in pediatric therapy services. Their clinicians offer speech and language, occupational, physical, feeding, and social skills therapies at their state-of-the-art Child Development Center and Pediatric Therapy Clinic, as well as in community settings. The Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program provides vital in-home developmental therapy for children from birth to age three, addressing delays and supporting family well-being through early intervention.
