About Northstar Academy
Northstar Academy serves students with disabilities in kindergarten through grade 12. We use differentiated instruction and project-based learning, with small classes and opportunities for students to learn from one another’s strengths. Clubs, sports and school traditions are part of the Academy experience.
Our separate Career Center serves juniors, seniors and young adults through hands-on preparation for competitive employment. Northstar is licensed by the Virginia Department of Education and accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools.
