About Explore Learning School
EXPLORE Learning School is a Christian microschool at The King's Chapel, 12925 Braddock Road in Clifton, Virginia. Classes cover grades 1 through 8, with no more than six students for each teacher.
The school specializes in supporting students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and auditory and visual differences. Instruction is Christ-centered and uses sensory, hands-on discovery in math, reading, spelling, writing, history, and science, with early intervention built in. Teachers are certified by the National Institute for Learning Development. Students are not assigned homework, so afternoons stay open for family, church, and other activities. The week can include field trips, a Lego lab, culinary instruction, and art.
