Linton Hall School is a Catholic school in Bristow, Virginia, serving preschool through 8th grade. It is a ministry of the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia, and religion is taught as an academic subject with weekly Mass for students in grades K-8. The Lower School covers kindergarten through grade 4 with a balanced literacy program built on guided reading, whole group instruction, and word study, alongside Spanish, art, music, library, PE, and technology. The Upper School covers grades 5 through 8 with a core of English, science, social studies, math, Spanish, and religion, complemented by art, music, computer technology, robotics, and athletics. The rural campus supports an Outdoor Conservation, Ecology and Wildlife program spanning all grades. Linton Hall runs a Resource Center serving grades K-8. Resource teachers provide small group instruction, repetition of core content, and specialized reading or math programs where needed, and a reading specialist offers individual and small group help in the Lower School. Center specialists partner with classroom teachers to identify learning differences and to guide students and parents through referral and outside diagnostic processes.
