Abide Christian Academy is a distinctive hybrid homeschool program located in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah, designed for children aged preschool through 10th grade. This innovative educational model combines the flexibility of homeschooling with the structure of a traditional private Christian school, fostering an environment that supports both academic and spiritual growth. Alpine Academy runs a residential school for teenagers ages 12 to 18, covering seventh through twelfth grade, across two Tooele County campuses: Mountain View in Erda and Lakeview in Tooele. Students live in homestyle settings while attending school on site. The academic program is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission in partnership with Cognia, with coursework aligned to Common Core standards in English and mathematics and to the Utah State Core in other subjects. A full-time special education teacher manages services under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, and instruction is accommodated or modified in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Plan. Every core teacher holds an endorsement both in the subject taught and in K-12 special education at the mild to moderate level, and the special education program qualifies the school as a certified Nonpublic School with the state of California. When a home district handles placement and case management, Alpine staff work with that district to meet the IEP requirements. Every accommodation listed in an IEP can be met on campus except speech and language services and occupational therapy, which may be arranged through an outside provider. Students who need documented support but were privately placed by parents rather than a district can receive an Individualized Learning Plan written by the special education director, with parent permission. It records learning needs, present levels of performance, learning goals and progress toward them, and any classroom accommodations, and it can later be used to request accommodations such as extra time or a small group setting on the ACT and SAT. Academic counseling covers graduation timeline monitoring, credit recovery, grade replacement, academic transition plans, and college and career planning. Families begin through the admissions assessment form.

The Alpine Transition and Employment Center (ATEC) is a special purpose public school operated by Alpine School District. It serves students with disabilities who have finished their high school years and continue working toward employment, independent living, and community participation through age 22. Instruction is delivered by special education teachers and classroom aides, with a speech language pathologist and a school nurse on staff. School runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with an early out on Wednesday. ATEC also helps families connect with the adult service system, including Social Security (SSI), Medicaid, the Division of Services for People with Disabilities, Vocational Rehabilitation, Ability First, the Department of Workforce Services and WIOA, Work Ability, the Utah Center for Assistive Technology, Utah Work Incentive Planning Services, Utah Valley University, and the Family Literacy Center. Alpine School District operates a companion program, ATEC West, in Saratoga Springs.
