Mountain Sunrise Academy

Breaking Barriers Academy in Saratoga Springs is a Carson Smith–eligible private school serving students with autism, learning differences, and related needs in northern Utah County. The academy focuses on individualized academics and life-skills development for families in the Saratoga Springs and west-side Utah County communities.

Bridgepoint, also called ATEC West, is at 484 West Pony Express Parkway in Saratoga Springs. It is the west-side Alpine Transition and Employment Center program for students ages 18-22. The school occupies a satellite building on the west side of Vista Heights Middle School. The day runs 7:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Horizon School is a separate K-12 special-purpose campus in the same city.

Busy Bee Academy holds class in a full daylight basement in Saratoga Springs, with large windows, a separate preschool entrance, a kitchen, a rug area, a learning table and a playroom with a children's climbing wall. Outside, a fully fenced yard gives our Busy Bees room for structured movement games. We teach small groups split by age. For 2026-27, Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes meet 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. for 3- to 4-year-olds ($155 a month) and 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for 4- to 5-year-olds ($180 a month). Tuesday and Thursday classes meet 9:00 a.m. to noon for 4- to 5-year-olds ($155) and 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. for 3- to 4-year-olds ($120). Classes fill, and we keep a waitlist. Our preschool day mixes play and movement with literacy and math, art, and child-led exploration. Daily yoga and short exercises in social skills, emotional awareness and regulation are part of each session. One of our teachers taught first grade in Alpine School District, and another holds a master's degree in early childhood education and a Child Development Associate credential.
