Edith Bowen Laboratory School

We are a public charter school in Logan that combines core academic skills with field experiences and community learning. Our classrooms have a teacher and an aide, with no more than 22 students per class. Reading groups are organized around students' reading levels. Students also learn through science, social studies, art and physical education. Field experiences connect to Utah State Core Standards, and afterschool clubs include learning, enrichment and recreation. Our wellness program supports social-emotional development through classroom lessons, small groups and individual counseling.

Evergreen Nature School in Logan is a private nature-based preschool and early childhood program. Students spend significant time outdoors with play-based, place-based learning. It is a general early-childhood program, not a dedicated special-education school.

Our Logan residential program combines school and mental health treatment for adolescents ages 12–18. Certified teachers provide classes in grades 7–12, with small groups and individual learning plans for students who need additional support. Licensed therapists provide individual, group and family therapy. Our ESSENCE model brings families and the treatment team together around each student’s plan. Students also take part in physical activity, community service and adventure learning, practicing skills within a structured living environment.
