Triumph Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-male private school established in 2000 in Utah and now located in Brigham City. It serves as the dedicated academic program for Triumph Youth Services, which provides the residential treatment and therapeutic support. Together the two programs provide education and therapeutic care for boys living in residential treatment, with students coming from across the United States. The school runs approximately 262 school days per year, longer than a traditional academic calendar. Instruction is individualized, with specialization in IEPs and 504 planning, credit recovery, independent study, face-to-face classroom sessions, and field programs. Staff collaborate monthly with parents and educational consultants to track progress. Students may earn a Triumph Academy diploma, and the school also works with home school districts, often in other states, so that credits transfer and in many cases the diploma is issued by the original district. The program integrates athletics, life skills, and hands-on learning. Offerings include competition sports such as rugby, football, wrestling, golf, and track, recreational sports, the Triumph Retriever Program, Alaska Adventures, community service, arts and music, and life skills instruction such as meal prep, chores, and financial literacy. The typical program length is 8 to 12 months, with open enrollment throughout the year.
