Kid Scholars Academy sits just off Highway 6 and Settlers Way Boulevard in Sugar Land. Our hours are 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays, and enrollment spans 6 weeks to 12 years old. We hold a 4-star Texas Rising Star rating and accept financial assistance for families who qualify. Infants, toddlers and preschoolers learn with the Frog Street curriculum, paired with Conscious Discipline strategies for self-regulation and conflict resolution. Every classroom has its own gross motor area, and children play outside daily on age-separated playgrounds. Spanish, sign language, cooking, gardening, robotics, theater and music are part of tuition, and families can add Soccer Shots, dance or gymnastics for a small fee. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and an afternoon supper are included at no extra cost. For school-age children, we provide transportation to and from Colony Bend, Settlers Way and Highlands elementary schools, plus homework help after school. In summer, campers ages 5 to 12 take field trips, STEM and math projects, and a YMCA Safety Around Water program, and we also run spring and holiday break camps.
