About Trillium Montessori Leander

Trillium Montessori grew out of Happy Faces Daycare, a small in-home center opened in 2006. Our first commercial school opened in Austin in 2014, Round Rock followed in 2017, and our Leander school on US 183 opened in fall 2021.

We care for children from 4 weeks old through pre-K. Infants up to 18 months start in our Nido, Italian for "nest," with a focus on independence, sensory exploration, and social interaction. Toddlers from 18 months to 3 years work with materials set at eye level in small classes with one-on-one teaching. Our Pre-K program for ages 3 to 5 combines Montessori with STEAM and prepares children to step into kindergarten with confidence.

Our teachers are early childhood education specialists, and all of our lead teachers hold NAMC Montessori certification. Classrooms connect to outdoor learning spaces, and enrichment programs let children learn through experience. When a class is full, we keep a waitlist and contact families as spaces open.
