About Hutto Middle School

Hutto Middle School serves roughly 1,300 students in grades 6 to 8 for Hutto ISD. Our counseling team works with each grade on course selection and placement in special programs, career exploration, and personal and academic concerns, and counselors coordinate Gifted and Talented testing and the PSAT 8.

Student life is busy. Fine arts options include band, choir, orchestra and theatre, and clubs range from robotics, chess and fishing to FCCLA, National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, a run club, a writers club, the student newscast, newspaper and yearbook.

A campus nurse and our library support students through the day. We support military families, and an active PTSA brings parents into school life.
