About Lighthouse School of Fort Worth
Our Fort Worth school serves students with learning differences who need individualized academic instruction. We group learners by their skills, support needs and family goals, with lower, intermediate and upper levels. Students can move between groups as their needs change.
Lower-level classes work on early reading, number skills, communication and classroom routines. These classes have five to six students with one to two teachers and use applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies. Intermediate classes combine reading, writing and math with life skills, emotional regulation and peer interaction. Upper-level students follow academic or functional learning pathways and plan for adulthood, vocational programs or further education, with speech, occupational therapy and behavioral supports.

Boulevard Heights serves Fort Worth ISD students ages 3 to 22 whose intellectual disabilities, autism or severe behavioral challenges have made a general campus difficult. Students come to our El Campo campus through the district's Admission, Review and Dismissal process. We teach academic subjects alongside social skills, community living and vocational skills. Instruction shifts toward practical skills as students get older. Our elementary program combines academic and functional learning, while postsecondary instruction focuses on daily living and adult skills. Speech, occupational and physical therapy, music therapy and adapted physical education are provided as directed by each student's Individualized Education Plan. We teach behavior skills with the goal of helping students return to a less restrictive setting.

Copper Creek Elementary opened in 2020 to serve the growing North Fort Worth community. Our Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD campus serves families in Copper Creek, Liberty Crossing, Quail Grove, Ridgeview Farms and Creekwood. Students continue to Prairie Vista Middle School and Saginaw High School. Children can take part in Running Club, choir, UIL activities and Leadership and Safety Patrol. We recognize students through our Caught Being CREEK program, which highlights compassion, respect, empathy, encouragement and kindness. Parents can participate through our PTA and Watch D.O.G.S. program.
