About Tullahoma Virtual Academy

Tullahoma Virtual Academy gives Tullahoma City Schools students in grades 6 to 12 a flexible, online path through their coursework. Our courses are asynchronous, so students choose when and where to work through lessons and assignments, and teachers answer questions by email. Students also attend regularly scheduled live meetings with their course instructors for deeper instruction.

Any TCS student can take TVA courses. Tullahoma High School students may add one or two virtual courses each semester without changing their enrollment. Students who want most or all of their classes online can transfer their enrollment to TVA and still take in-person classes at THS and join its sports, co-curricular organizations and extracurricular activities.

West Middle School

Tullahoma, TN Grades 6-8
STEM Fab Lab After-school clubs Public school

West Middle School is a Tullahoma City Schools middle school on Hermitage Drive, and our students are the Bobcats. Three expectations apply to students and staff alike: respect, learn and lead. Our 21st Century program keeps the building busy after the final bell every day of the week, with homework help each afternoon and early-morning tutoring sessions through the week. Students can join yearbook, video club and video production, sewing and needlework, art club, upcycling, Japan club, culture club, a sixth-grade math team, FBLA-ML, LEGO League and game day. Our Fab Lab STEM room opens after school for hands-on projects. Student council meets monthly and runs a recycling effort, and a student leadership group and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes also meet before or after school. During the day, students take art and choir, and band runs through the district music program. Our library supports reading across subjects, and our school counselor works with students on academic, career and social-emotional growth. Our basketball teams play schools across the region.
