Academy of Rockvale

The Academy of Rockvale on New Salem Highway is one of 17 Academy Child Development centers across Middle Tennessee, offering child care and early learning from infancy through pre-K. Our centers are supported by Never Grow Up, Inc., which keeps training and safety standards consistent from one location to the next.

Every classroom follows the Frog Street curriculum, with lessons in early literacy, language, problem-solving and social-emotional skills taught through hands-on activities and guided play. Infants work on early milestones, toddlers build independence and communication, and our pre-K program focuses on early literacy, math foundations and the classroom independence children need for kindergarten. Enrichment sessions in arts, culture, movement and early science run Monday through Thursday and are included in tuition, and seasonal programs bring themed activities and family celebrations through the year.

Our teachers receive ongoing training, and many are CPR and First Aid certified, trained in Baby Sign Language and educated in SIDS prevention. Families get daily updates with photos and notes about their child's day.
