Lavergne Middle School
LaVergne Middle School serves grades 6 to 8 as part of Rutherford County Schools. Our campus on Stones River Road includes an auditorium, a main gym, a library and the LMS Annex Building, and district buses serve families across our attendance zone. Students who want extra help can join after-school tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We serve a multilingual community, so tutoring sign-up forms come in English, Spanish and Arabic, and Spanish and Arabic interpreters are available at parent-teacher conferences. Each student also works with a team of Academy teachers for their grade level. Outside the classroom, our Dance Team has performed on a professional stage before an Atlanta Dream WNBA game, and students can try out for our archery team. We also pass along opportunities such as Girls in Aviation Day, where middle schoolers explore aviation careers through aircraft displays and hands-on activities.
