Future Leaders of Excellence Academy (FLOE)
FLOE Academy opened on December 4, 2017, with seven children, and we have since cared for more than 100 families from our center on South Dickerson Pike. We serve children from 6 weeks to 5 years old in six classrooms, with two playgrounds, two gardens, and a large gross motor room for days when the weather keeps us inside. We were founded as an all-inclusive early childhood program, and we accept children regardless of ability. Children with special needs learn alongside typically developing classmates in the same rooms. We have always welcomed outside therapists into our building to work with enrolled children, so parents do not need to leave work to get their child to appointments. Infants and toddlers move through Playful Pals, Safari Friends, and Busy Bees, where babies follow their own feeding and sleep schedules. Our preschool rooms start with Wise Owls, where potty training happens with a child-sized restroom, and our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten. Every teacher holds first-aid and CPR certification.
