Mauldin Elementary School

Mauldin Elementary dates to 1921, and about 1,048 students attend, from K3 through fifth grade, as part of Greenville County Schools. Our building, dedicated in 2002, has a large gym, a media center, two music rooms, two art rooms with a kiln, two computer labs and a STEM lab. Outside are two playgrounds with basketball courts, soccer goals and a walking track, plus a butterfly garden and two courtyards.

We are an official Leader in Me Lighthouse School, and student Lighthouse Teams lead many of our activities, including campus tours. Response to Intervention, a gifted education program, a multi-language learners program and a school-based mental health counselor support students.

Fourth and fifth graders can audition for chorus, and students also run the MES News Show, join Art Club, National Beta Club and Safety Patrols, and take part in the Real Men Read program. An extended day program serves families after school.
