Wesley High School is one of Wesley Family Services’ two private academic schools in Western Pennsylvania. We serve students whose behavioral health, mental health, or educational barriers call for intensive therapeutic support during the school day. Classroom learning and therapy are coordinated in a smaller, inclusive setting, with staff working toward each student’s educational and treatment goals. Wesley also supports students in district schools and offers transition services for teenagers and young adults, but school placement is a distinct option. Families can ask their school district whether a referral is appropriate or contact centralized admissions to discuss eligibility and next steps.

Over all great school great staff that will help you with any problems. I would know cause I was a student at Wesley Family Services from kindergarten all the way till graduation. And I do miss the staff and students I’ve made relationships with.

CITY Connections East is a community-based transition program for students ages 18–21 who continue to receive services through an Individualized Education Program. Students work toward goals for life after high school in age-appropriate community settings. Families and school teams shape those goals together, with learning connected to living, working and participating in the community.
At 3450 California Avenue in Pittsburgh, CITY Connections North runs a community-based transition program for eligible Pittsburgh Public Schools students ages 18–21. Students must have completed at least four years of high school and need more time to meet graduation requirements. Staff help participants plan IEP goals and complete transition assessments, then build practical skills through job coaching, travel training, and Pre-Employment Transition Services as they continue working toward graduation.
