About Forks Elementary School
Forks Elementary School serves kindergarten through fifth grade students from Forks Township and Martins Creek. We are one of seven elementary schools in the Easton Area School District, which is accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Middle States Association.
Our classrooms cover reading, English language arts, math, science and social studies, with art, music, physical education, library and technology each week. Students who need extra help get targeted intervention through the MTSS process, and English learners receive ELD support. Every student has a school iPad. Kindergarten through second graders keep theirs in classroom carts and take them home a few days a week, while third through fifth graders bring theirs home daily and over the summer. Our library lends fiction, nonfiction, biographies, picture books and magazines with no overdue fines.
Outside class, students can join band and orchestra, chorus, the school newspaper, safety patrol, student council and track club. Lehigh Valley Children's Centers provides before and after school care for our families, including extended care for kindergartners.

Other Schools in Easton, PA
Bethlehem Christian School
For more than forty years, Bethlehem Christian School has taught children from preschool through 12th grade as one interdenominational school on two campuses about 2.9 miles apart. Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church hosts our preschool through 4th grade program in Bethlehem, and Calvary Baptist Church hosts grades 5 to 12 at our Upper Campus on Green Pond Road in Easton. Staggered start and dismissal times make drop-off easier for families with children on both campuses. We are a covenant school for Christian families. Our curriculum meets state and national standards and is taught from a Biblical worldview. We hold accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International and the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools. Students who need extra help receive evaluation, support services and accommodations through our partnership with their home school district and Colonial Intermediate Unit 20. High schoolers meet with a college and career advisor and manage applications through the Scoir platform. Middle and high school athletes compete in the ACCAC and PIAA in basketball, girls volleyball, cross country, and track and field, with boys middle school soccer and baseball. We also run a summer camp.
Easton Area Middle School
Easton Area Middle School works with the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley as a community school. That partnership helps us use attendance, academic and behavior data to improve, and it connects students with partners such as Communities in Schools, Family Connection and the Easton Bar Association. Our Challenge 5 initiative targets attendance, and we put particular focus on the transitions into middle school and on to high school. Students in grades 6 to 8 are organized into grade-level centers. A guidance department, Student Assistance Program (SAP) team and health room support students, and English Language Development serves multilingual learners. Our 8th to 9th Grade Transition program prepares students for Easton Area High School. Students can join EAMS Youth Court, and an EAMS Special Olympics team competes in track and field.
Easton Arts Academy
Easton Arts Academy Elementary Charter School is a public charter school for kindergarten through 5th grade, with students from Easton and across Lehigh, Carbon, and Bucks counties and the Pocono region. Each week our students take dance, instrumental music, visual art, vocal music, theatre, and mindfulness and movement, and our teachers weave the arts into core subjects through a partnership with The Institute for Arts Integration and STEAM. McGraw Hill is our core curriculum, supported by IXL, myOn, and Heggerty, and students take STAR benchmark tests at the beginning, middle, and end of the year. Our English Language Development teachers work with small groups by proficiency level, and Tier 2 reading intervention runs in six-week pull-out cycles. As a member of the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20, we identify and evaluate students with disabilities and provide IEPs and special education services to those who qualify. Breakfast and lunch are free for all students with no application required. Students who live within ten miles of the school ride transportation provided by their home school district.
