About Bridges Middle School
At Bridges Middle School, students with learning differences get the structure and room to experiment that middle school can demand. We use clear schedules, organized binders, and work spaces to help students keep track of their day. In small classes, teachers vary instruction across visual, auditory, and hands-on approaches while teaching Oregon’s academic standards. Relationships matter here: teachers and counselors work with families and outside providers to support both learning and social development. Students can pursue interests through cooking, building, film, and other hands-on work. In longer projects, they investigate a question for a week or a semester and share what they learned in a product or presentation. Our aim is for students to leave with stronger academic habits, friendships, and self-advocacy skills for high school.
