St Christopher School

St. Christopher Catholic School opened in 1959 under the Sisters of the Precious Blood, and today 327 students in kindergarten through 8th grade attend our Vandalia campus near Dayton. Each day begins and ends with prayer, religion class meets daily, and students attend weekly Mass. The Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association accredits our school.

Our staff includes intervention specialists, a remedial reading teacher, a guidance counselor and a licensed counselor, and we can bring in speech, school psychology, physical therapy, hearing and vision services as needed. Honors reading and math start in 6th grade, and 8th graders can earn high school credit in Algebra I, Geometry and Spanish. Students have art, music and computer weekly and PE twice a week. Our Falcon Flight program offers small-group after school tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Band is open to grades 5 to 8, and CYO sports, robotics, STEM club, drama and student council fill out the year, along with a three-day Camp Kern trip in 5th grade. Hot lunch is served daily, and bus service comes through the Vandalia-Butler, Northmont, Tipp City and Northridge districts.
