Summit Academy School - DAYTON

Learning Center North, Learning Center West, the Early Childhood Program, Future Self Center and Remote Learning Center are the five student learning programs we operate at Montgomery County Educational Service Center. They provide individualized education for students who need specialized support. Families and referring schools can explore these programs alongside the related services available through MCESC. We serve 16 public school districts in Montgomery County and more than 140 educational entities across Greater Dayton. Our work with districts includes instructional support, career readiness, career-connected learning and professional development for educators. We help school teams address learning needs, strengthen teaching and develop the expertise they use with students each day. Those partnerships involve both the people teaching students and the teams coordinating their educational services. Specialized and related services extend our work beyond classroom placement. Occupational and physical therapy form part of that provision. District support also includes school psychology, speech services, hearing and audiology, low vision and orientation and mobility, adaptive physical education and home instruction. We bring these services together with our learning programs and educational support for schools and families across the region.

At Spring Valley Academy, students learn across elementary, junior high, and high school. Our elementary program builds a foundation in learning and faith; junior high combines current lessons with Christian values; and high school prepares students for life after graduation and their chosen careers. Students also take part in campus ministries and spiritual leadership.

We bring arts training and academic study together for Dayton students in grades seven through 12. Students can pursue areas such as music, dance, theater, creative writing and visual arts while completing their core coursework in a public magnet school.
