About Genesis Christian Academy - Ashland

Genesis Christian Academy is a non-traditional Christian high school in Ashland, Ohio, where families structure a Christ-led education around their student's needs and future goals. Our mission is to equip students to take their places in God's world through godly character, academic proficiency, and Biblical life skills, and we teach every subject from a Biblical worldview.

Our course sequence covers Structure and Style writing, Great Books, world history, Western civilization, American history and government, algebra through geometry, financial literacy, physical science, biology, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology. Language offerings include Spanish, French, Greek, Hebrew, and Latin, depending on enrollment, and juniors and seniors study apologetics and philosophy. Health and Bible are required to graduate, students may take College Credit Plus courses, and academically strong 8th graders may add classes when parents and administration agree.

Outside class, students join Ashbrook Academy and its luncheons, the Ashland Christmas Parade, the Walk for Life, and the Ashland County Veterans Honor Bus, along with murder mystery nights, a student versus teacher game night, and field trips to the Henry Ford Museum and Chillicothe.
