About Edison Elementary School
Edison Elementary is one of two primary schools in Ashland City Schools, serving kindergarten through third grade. After third grade, every Ashland student moves to Taft Intermediate for grades 4 and 5.
When a child struggles academically, behaviorally or emotionally, support starts with the classroom teacher through our district's Response to Intervention process, where staff share strategies to help the student succeed. Students with disabilities are evaluated and served under IDEA by the district's Student Services office, and gifted services are available district-wide.
The district offers bus transportation, and free and reduced-price meals are available for eligible families. Our PTO runs events like the district walk-a-thon and family pizza nights, and the whole district cheers on the Arrows.
