About New Story School Athens
At New Story Schools Athens, we provide kindergarten through grade 12 education with autism and emotional support. Smaller classes and individual learning plans address students' educational, social, emotional and behavioral needs.
Our Athens program offers applied behavior analysis and uses the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) and Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS). These tools help assess language and learning skills for program planning. Enrollment generally starts with the home district; Ohio also has scholarship routes for some families to enroll directly.
