Since 1924, the Vincent Smith School has been the premier day school on Long Island for families seeking very small classes, differentiated teaching for learning differences, and a warm, nurturing environment for students in grades 1-12. Vincent Smith is widely known for our successful programs for students with school anxiety, ADHD, or learning disorders such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, and Language Processing Disorders. We offer on-site, professional services for speech, reading, counseling, & occupational therapy, integrated into the regular school day. We emphasize academic success, differentiated instruction, & strong home-school communication in small, supportive classes. Approximately 85% of our graduates go on to college.

Robert Williams School is a Nassau BOCES middle school program providing an academic setting with a multidisciplinary team for students with learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities. Instruction is aligned to New York State standards and includes opportunities toward a Regents diploma or other state-approved diplomas, along with CDOS-aligned work-based learning where appropriate. Placement is through the home district's Committee on Special Education (CSE) as part of the student's IEP process.
