About William Paca Middle School
William Paca Middle School serves about 1,500 students in grades 6, 7, and 8 in Mastic Beach, as part of the William Floyd School District on Long Island's south shore.
Each grade has its own assistant principal, school counselor, social worker, and school psychologist, and we have a social worker for English as a New Language students. Our students follow a full curriculum in every subject area, and we are a Title I school.
Students with disabilities are served through the district's Office of Special Education, which supports children ages 3 to 21. Families can request an evaluation through the building principal or the Committee on Special Education, and our district SEPTO hosts parent meetings on topics such as ACCESS-VR and OPWDD services.
