About Coram Elementary School
Coram Elementary School serves kindergarten through fourth grade in Longwood Central School District. Kindergarten and first grade students learn in its Primary Building; second through fourth graders attend the Intermediate Building. That split gives families separate office contacts and arrival routes for the two age groups.
Classroom work combines teacher-led lessons with cooperative small groups and independent assignments. Students practice reading, math, writing, speaking, and listening while building the habits to work on their own. Coram also emphasizes collaboration between families and staff. The regular school day runs from 9:25 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.
