I-School is an innovative K-12 educational institution dedicated to providing mastery-based, individualized learning experiences for students in grades 5-12, particularly those with unique learning needs such as language-based learning disabilities and twice-exceptional learners. The school's core mission is to adapt the educational environment to meet each student's specific interests and abilities, fostering an atmosphere where academic success is attainable through personalized support. With a focus on flexibility, I-School allows students to engage in a variety of learning formats, including onsite and remote instruction, accommodating travel, competitive sports, and other life commitments while ensuring progress toward graduation. The school's approach emphasizes one-on-one instruction and mastery of subjects before advancing to new topics, promoting a deep understanding of material at each student's pace. This tailored methodology encourages critical thinking and real-life skills development through interest-based projects and collaborative work. I-School stands out for its commitment to creating strong family partnerships in the educational journey, recognizing that collaboration between educators and families is vital for student success. What differentiates I-School from traditional education models is its low student-teacher ratio, which allows for personalized attention and customized learning paths. Additionally, the school offers year-round instruction options that cater to diverse learning needs and schedules. With a solid foundation built on core knowledge and an openness to new ideas, I-School empowers students to explore their potential in an interconnected world while preparing them for college and career aspirations.
