About EmpowerEd Leaders
We are a microschool in Boulder City for children in kindergarten through 8th grade, founded by educators Amy Higley and Jayme Haines. Our approach combines leadership skills with problem-based learning, so learners take on real-world challenges and build their understanding of core subjects through hands-on projects.
The microschool program runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $600 per month. In our close-knit community, children help steer their own learning and practice teamwork, communication and resilience alongside academics.
Beyond the core program, we offer private tutoring by appointment and weekly afternoon clubs: Homework Club, a Mystery and Escape Room Club, Reader's Theater and Home Economics. We keep a waitlist when spots fill, and we accept donations as a nonprofit.
