About High Road School of Cole County
Our kindergarten through grade 12 program at High Road School of Cole County combines classroom instruction with supports outlined in each student's IEP. We use smaller, structured classrooms and coordinate with families and school district partners.
Services at our school include counseling, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and sensory rooms. Students can receive academic and behavioral support through the Spark pathway, instruction and life skills through Spring, or functional communication and daily living support through Bloom. These pathways address different needs rather than assigning every student the same program.
Our team uses SESI's Integrated Multi-Tiered Systems of Support to plan academic, behavioral and emotional supports around each student's goals.
