BLS Education Center - Grain Valley

School-age children at our Grain Valley center ride free to and from every Grain Valley school, and the Matthews Elementary bus stops right at our door. BLS Education Center is a state-licensed child care center for children from birth to 12 years old, with a sister location in Blue Springs. Both sit close to I-70, and many of our families come from Odessa, Oak Grove, Buckner, Blue Springs and Independence.

Our preschool program focuses on getting children ready for kindergarten. Lessons follow a new theme each week and weave together math, reading, writing, science and social studies, technology, art, social skills, and fine and gross motor practice.

For older children we run a before and after school program and a summer camp. The Grain Valley center opens at 5:30 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, which helps parents with early shifts. We accept state child care subsidy and offer discounts for families enrolling more than one child.
