About KVC Missouri Academy Columbia
KVC Academy’s Columbia campus serves K–12 students who need therapeutic education and special-education support. The program addresses autism, communication disorders, cognitive delays, ADHD, Down syndrome, emotional disturbance, other health impairments, and significant emotional or behavioral challenges, while teaching core subjects through an integrated social-emotional approach.

High Road School of Boone County
At High Road School of Boone County, students in kindergarten through grade 12 receive instruction aligned with their IEP goals. Smaller, structured classrooms provide a setting for academic, behavioral and emotional support. Services at our school include BCBA support, counseling, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy and motor labs. The Spark, Spring and Bloom pathways address academic and behavioral needs, instruction and life skills, and functional communication and daily living. We work with families and district partners on the supports each student receives.
Missouri Connections Academy
Missouri families can attend Missouri Connections Academy online from kindergarten through twelfth grade without paying tuition. Alongside its regular public-school program, the academy has gifted and advanced learning options for elementary and middle school students who are twice-exceptional. Those students can pursue advanced work while receiving the special education support their individual needs require.
