Montessori School of Tupelo
Montessori School of Tupelo has served families since 2002, with children from 8 weeks to 12 years old on our Mount Vernon Road campus. Our classrooms follow the Montessori model of mixed ages: infant, pre-toddler, toddler, early childhood for ages 3 to 6, lower elementary for ages 6 to 9, and upper elementary for ages 9 to 12. Outdoors, our Garden, Nature, and Farm School puts children to work planting, harvesting, and caring for farm animals through every season, using regenerative farming practices. Spanish and music are part of our enrichment program, and a school chef prepares snacks and lunch with help from a parent nutrition committee. Infant, toddler, and early childhood families choose a day ending at 2:30 p.m. or an extended day until 5:30 p.m., starting at 7:45 a.m. Parent committees for gardening, beautification and fundraising help run the school.
