Best Special Needs Schools in Chanhassen, Minnesota (2026)

The Crème School of Chanhassen sits at Highway 5 and Galpin Boulevard, near Bluff Creek Elementary, and cares for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Crème de la Crème opened in 1982 and joined the KinderCare Learning Companies family in 2022. Our Crème Learning Approach pairs a core curriculum in movement, math and literacy with daily 30-minute Signature Enrichment rotations in STEM, Spanish, music and art for our early preschool, preschool, Crème Prep and transitional kindergarten classes. Teachers share developmental profiles and portfolios at family conferences, and daily photos and highlights come through the Procare app. The building includes a tennis court, soccer field, baseball diamond, basketball courts and an indoor gym, along with live classroom and playground cameras. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included in tuition. School-age children come for before and after school care, with Crème and district buses serving Bluff Creek, Chanhassen, Excelsior, Victoria and other nearby elementary schools, and summer camp and school break programs run when school is out.
