Devens School

The Devens School on Church Street is a co-educational therapeutic day school operated by Everett Public Schools for students ages 5 to 22 who have been found eligible for special education services. The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education first licensed the program in 2012.

Our program pairs academic instruction with intensive therapeutic support under the supervision of clinically trained staff. Students learn strategies for managing the mental and physical challenges that have made a traditional classroom difficult, and they practice accountability and responsibility through open, honest communication with staff. We work closely with parents throughout a student's time here and treat education as a practical way to improve each student's life.

As part of Everett Public Schools, Devens students receive breakfast and lunch at no cost every school day, and families can connect with the district Special Education Parent Advisory Council.
