About High Road School of Cecil County
At High Road School of Cecil County, we teach kindergarten through grade 12 in smaller, structured classrooms. Instruction is planned around students' IEP goals, with staff and district partners coordinating academic, behavioral and emotional supports.
Counseling, speech-language therapy, social work, motor labs, and transition and life skills programming are available at this school. Our Spark and Spring pathways address academic and behavioral needs and instruction and life skills. We work with families on skills students can use beyond the classroom.

NeuroRestorative Academy - Elkton
Children and youth from newborn through age 21 can attend NeuroRestorative Academy - Elkton, an accredited nonpublic therapeutic program at 1040 Singerly Road in Elkton, Maryland. The academy is part of NeuroRestorative, a Sevita Health company. Students may be recovering from or living with brain and spinal cord injuries, complex medical needs, illness, autism, or behavioral challenges. The team works with each student's home school district on an individualized plan of learning and support tied to that child's goals. Instruction is in small groups, with a low teacher-to-student ratio and substantial one-to-one attention, so the academic pace can match where each student is. The staff mixes education and clinical roles: special education teachers and education aides, registered nurses, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, board-certified behavior analysts, psychologists, behavioral technicians, and life skills trainers. During the school day, on-site services include special education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, applied behavior analysis, and nursing and medical care. Admissions and age eligibility vary by program. Intake goes through NeuroRestorative's central admissions team. The Academy has a bullying policy.
